Definition: A heavy snow shower accompanied by sudden strong winds.  CanadaNCA 

A brief, but intense fall of snow that greatly reduces visibility and which is often accompanied by strong winds.  NSIDCCryosphere 

A moderate to heavy snow flurry, which is driven by strong, gusty winds. Visibility during snow squalls is usually poor.  ECCCanada
